Help build the next chapter.

We’re looking to connect with safety-minded CDL-A drivers who take pride in their work and are interested in interstate semi-truck driving.

The drivers we’re looking for

Dependable professionals who operate carefully, communicate clearly, care for equipment, and represent the company respectfully at every pickup and delivery. A minimum of 2 years of tractor-trailer driving experience is required. Drivers with 5 or more years of experience are preferred.

What the role involves

  • Operate a tractor-trailer safely while transporting freight between pickup and delivery locations.
  • Complete required vehicle inspections and promptly report defects or maintenance concerns.
  • Follow hours-of-service rules and maintain accurate logs, including ELD records where required.
  • Check shipping documents, communicate load updates, and coordinate with dispatch and customers.
  • Verify freight securement and follow site procedures; loading and unloading duties depend on the assignment.
  • Follow applicable DOT/FMCSA requirements, traffic laws, and company safety procedures.

Baseline qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of tractor-trailer driving experience; 5+ years preferred.
  • Valid Class A commercial driver’s license appropriate for the equipment and assignment.
  • At least 21 years old for interstate commercial driving.
  • Meet applicable medical qualification and certification requirements, including any approved exemption or variance.
  • Be qualified to drive under FMCSA rules and complete required driving-record, employment-history, and qualification reviews.
  • Meet applicable DOT drug and alcohol testing and Clearinghouse requirements.
  • Read and speak English sufficiently to meet FMCSA requirements for safe operation, official inquiries, and records.
  • Safely operate the assigned equipment and complete the required road test or accepted equivalent.

General requirements are informed by FMCSA driver qualification guidance. Assignment-specific and insurer requirements are reviewed during hiring.

Let’s talk about the details

Pay, schedule, home time, benefits, employment arrangement, and whether equipment is company-provided will be discussed with operations before you accept a position. Submitting an interest application does not guarantee an offer.

BEFORE YOU APPLY

A few useful answers.

Do I need to own a truck?

Contact operations to confirm the equipment arrangement for the current opening. Tell us in your application whether you’re looking for a company-driver role or an owner-operator opportunity.

What are the pay and home-time arrangements?

Speak with operations about the specific role, route, pay structure, and time away from home before accepting a position.

What happens after I apply?

Prepare and send the initial application email. Operations can then discuss the role and arrange the full employment application, qualification checks, and any required onboarding.

Is this the complete DOT employment application?

No. This is an initial interest application. The full driver employment application and required qualification process are completed separately before driving for the company.

How can I request help with the application?

Call 630-267-2699 or email Operations@betheltransportationllc.com to discuss application assistance or an accommodation request. Please do not include medical details in this form.
